Currently finishing their B.F.A. in musical theatre at Howard University, Lauryn is known for their vibrance, versatility, and discipline. As a singer, dancer, actor, and musician, Lauryn has performed across Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and New York.
Post-graduation, Lauryn aims to pursue musical theatre performance and advocate for social justice in the theatrical realm.
Lauryn is a strong mezzo-soprano singer, dancer, actor, musician, and poet. Lauryn began performing at 3 years old as a dancer and pianist. Lauryn’s mother introduced them to musical theatre, inspiring them to audition for their first community theatre production at age 9. Since then, Lauryn taught themself guitar and ukulele, worked as a dance and acting teacher, and performed at Philadelphia’s Love Park, 54 Below, and various theaters on the East Coast.
